The third Isaacs family intercontinental reunion was held in New York City, New York in 2015.

There were two previous Isaacs family reunions: Leeuwarden, The Netherlands, in 2010 and Cambridge, United Kingdom, in 2005.

Leeuwarden is where the Isaacs family lived before moving to London, England. New York City is where the U.S. branch of the Isaacs family first put down its roots in 1839 when Samuel Myer Isaacs, and his new bride Jane Simons (originally Symmons) moved to head a Jewish congregation in New York, B’nai Jeshurun.

The New York City reunion focused on the path of immigrants to the United States and visited:

= Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty

= Tenement Museum New York City, where we have private tours of                           “Sweatshop     Workers” (inside building tour) and “Outside the Home”

= Congregation Shaaray Tefila, where Samuel Myer Isaacs was among the founders

= WhiteBox Art Center, where John Graham Isaacs made a presentation about the roots of the Isaacs family and attendees talked about their lives and backgrounds

= Jewish delicatessens and restaurants, such as Russ & Daughters Café and Katz’s Delicatessen

= Stanley M. Isaacs Neighborhood Center, named after a grandson of Stanley Myer Isaacs who had a successful political career in New York City. There we have several presentations:
